Introduction

Fade2Stage is a creative community platform for screenwriters and storytellers. By accessing or using Fade2Stage, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

User Submissions

• Writers retain full ownership of their screenplays.

• By submitting a screenplay, you grant Fade2Stage a limited, non‑exclusive license to display your work within the community for review purposes.

• You also grant Fade2Stage the right to store, reproduce, and technically process your work as necessary for platform functionality, including backups and cached versions.

• You may only upload your own original work. Uploading scripts you did not create or do not have permission to share is strictly prohibited.

• You must ensure that all submissions are original and do not infringe on third‑party rights.

• Fade2Stage reserves the right to remove any submission at its discretion.

Reviews and Feedback

• Reviews must be constructive, respectful, and free of plagiarism.

• Fade2Stage reserves the right to remove abusive or harmful feedback.

• Reviewers acknowledge that their comments may be visible to other members.

• Reviewers acknowledge they have no ownership or rights to any screenplay they review.

• Fade2Stage is not responsible for disputes between writers and reviewers.

Brand Writing

• Users may participate in writing projects for brands through Fade2Stage.

• All brand‑commissioned content is considered “work for hire” unless otherwise agreed.

• Ownership of brand‑commissioned scripts belongs to the brand.

• Fade2Stage acts as facilitator and does not claim rights to brand content.

• Users may not submit brand‑related content unless participating in an authorized Fade2Stage project. Unauthorized use of real brand names, logos, or trademarks is strictly prohibited.

• Brand projects may require additional agreements, including non‑disclosure or confidentiality terms.

• Fade2Stage is not responsible for payment disputes between users and external brands.

Community Guidelines

• No harassment, hate speech, or offensive material.

• No posting of scripts or reviews that violate copyright law.

• Collaboration and respect are core values of the Fade2Stage community.

• Fade2Stage reserves the right to suspend or ban users without explanation.

• Fade2Stage may remove any content at any time.

Intellectual Property

• Fade2Stage logos, branding, and site design are protected.

• Users may not copy or redistribute Fade2Stage materials without permission.

Payments and Compensation

• If premium memberships or brand writing payments are involved, billing, refunds, and cancellation policies will be clearly outlined.

• Fade2Stage is not liable for disputes between users and external brands.

• No refunds will be issued for digital goods unless required by law.

• Payment security is handled by third‑party providers (e.g., Stripe, Wix, WordPress).

DMCA Policy

Fade2Stage respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been posted without permission, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent:

We will promptly remove or disable access to the material in question. If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter‑notification. Submitting false claims may result in liability for damages.

Fade2Stage will terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.

Disclaimers and Liability

• Fade2Stage is not responsible for the accuracy of user reviews or scripts.

• Technical issues may occur, and Fade2Stage is not liable for downtime or data loss.

• Fade2Stage provides no professional, legal, or financial advice.

• All feedback and reviews are subjective and provided “as is.”

• Fade2Stage is not liable for user interactions, disputes, or outcomes resulting from participation in the community.

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fade2Stage’s liability to any user shall not exceed $100 or the total amount paid by the user to Fade2Stage in the preceding 12 months, whichever is greater.

Arbitration and Class Action Waiver

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Nevada, USA, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Users waive the right to participate in class actions, collective proceedings, or representative claims against Fade2Stage. All disputes must be brought on an individual basis.

Termination

• Accounts may be suspended for violating community rules or legal obligations.

• Users may terminate their accounts at any time.

• Fade2Stage reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at any time, with or without notice.

• Terminated users may request deletion of personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws, but Fade2Stage is not obligated to retain or provide access to user submissions after termination.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Nevada, USA.

Updates

Fade2Stage may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. Users will be notified of significant changes.
